 ACF is an organization of African Christians in the Diaspora, who through fellowship strive to create better societies both where they reside and in the continent of Africa.                                                            

ACF seeks to facilitate unity amongst African Christians of all denominations in order to sound the voice of the oppressed and persecuted in Africa, bring physical and spiritual relief and build healing bridges between Africans and the people around the world.

We are an interdenominational Christian organization committed to being a thriving Christian Community that models integrity, excellence, and compassion.  Our vision is to mobilize and empower Africans worldwide in impacting our generation and to work towards the realization of God’s purpose and vision for the continent of Africa and peoples of African descent worldwide. ACF New Haven is a local chapter of ACF-USA.  ACF-USA has chapters in almost every major city here in the United States of America.

We meet twice a month by 7pm at: Trinity Evangelical Free Church, 33 Center Road, Woodbridge CT. 06525. Venues for special events will be announced.

ACF Vision Statement

ACF shall be a thriving Christian Community that models integrity, excellence, and compassion to mobilize and empower Africans worldwide to impact their generation and Africa. 

Africa has consistently and prominently featured in every major dispensational master plan for humanity. These appearances highlight the fact that from God's perspective, Africa has never been either a dark continent or a forgotten one as has been referred to in the past. There have been foretastes of African leadership and their achievements throughout history, but there shall yet be an unprecedented renaissance and restoration in Africa, among Africans and African descendents all over the world.


Our Mission Objective.

ACF  Mission Objectives is the building and preserving of a stable, functional and harmonious community that effectively addresses the spiritual, physical, social and emotional needs and recognize the diversity of its members; Initiating and maintaining active and relevant connections with the Continent and peoples of Africa .

Goals And Objectives

African Christians share in the historic mandate of the New Testament church to make disciples of all people (Matt.28:19-20) through the power of the Holy Spirit. In accordance thereto, we commit ourselves to pursuing the following goals and objectives:

1. To equip African Christians living in the New Haven Area for effective Godly living.

2. To proclaim Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of all people, especially Africans, through
evangelism, conferences, seminars, publications, and other similar activities.

3. To initiate support for the evangelization of Africa and explore issues relevant to the African experience.

4. To encourage the spiritual growth of members through corporate prayer meetings, Bible studies, worship services, and fellowship.

 5. To encourage the active participation of members in the activities of our  local chapter, churches and other Christian organizations.
 6. To work cooperatively with other Christian groups of similar purpose through prayer support, communication, material assistance and other available means.

In the light of the goals and objectives It shall be our responsibility to:

1. Develop and nurture our fellowship chapter within our geological territory
 in accordance with the mission, vision and purposes of ACF-USA, Inc.

2. Promote and encourage “brotherly Christian love” among members of the Fellowship in our  Chapter and beyond.

3. Develop Christian leadership qualities among members of our Chapter .

4. Identify and enhance opportunities for effectively promoting and supporting the ministry of the African Christian Fellowship. This will include, but not limited to, opportunities to partner or collaborate with other ministries with whom ACF shares common interests.

 5. Translate the vision, goals and objectives of the ACF-USA, Inc. into programs and activities that have relevance to our Chapter , and the individuals that make up our local chapter..

6. Assist in the development and implementation of programs necessary to accomplish the goals and objectives of ACF-USA, Inc, ACF-East Region, and the member our of Chapter within the New Haven area.

7. Expand and enhance the activities of the fellowship within the New Haven area.

Our Core Work Area

To implement the vision of the ACF , four  mission areas are stated below:

Building Bridges:
Establishing consistent, viable and productive relationships with Africans and other people groups in the United States and worldwide.

Building and Preserving the ACF Family and Community:
Building and preserving a stable, functional and harmonious community that effectively addresses the spiritual, physical, social and emotional needs; and recognize the diversity of its members.

Passing The Legacy:
Inculcating in children of African decent an appreciation of our vision and values, thereby preparing them to serve their own generation.

Reconnecting with the Continent:
Initiating and maintaining active and relevant connections with the Continent and peoples of Africa to maximize the benefits of Africa spiritual, social, economic and cultural resources.
